David Egan riding well in Japan

He was on board Weltreisender in the G2 at Chukyo on Sunday.

That was the Nikkei Shimbun Hai over 2200m and it was a tight finish for the first three spots but Egan managed to get Weltreisender into the top one.  King of Dragon on 35.8 was second and Piradantai third on 8.7.

Egan has a great racing background being the son of jockey John Egan and a nephew of Richard Hughes, and his mother trains National Hunt horses.  Like many of the younger jockeys coming through he came through the Pony Racing ranks.
