We go about finding a weekend special from a statistical angle.

Handy mare from the Matthew Dale stable who took a good step forward last start when finishing a close second behind Miss Shanti.

Clearly appreciated getting back onto firmer footing and now appears set to relish the step up to 2000m.

Kerrin McEvoy is obviously a key booking and she is expected to settle closer to the speed from the middle draw.

On best form she appears well placed down in the weights and should prove hard to beat.

Over this distance range the Matthew Dale stable is striking at 23% and 20% with gallopers who rise between 100m-200m.

When combined with the Dale stable, McEvoy is striking at 25% and is clearly one of the form jockeys in the country.

Overall the Dale is striking at 28% with gallopers who finish second in the lead up and close to 40% with favourites.
