Winning Trainer: Shane Fliedner
Two for two at The Valley: "He likes The Valley. It was a terrific run first-up and then second-up he was in the slow lane and his last start put the writing on the wall really."
Versatile horse: "He's virtually bred to run 2000 (metres). I've never pushed to get there but I think we will this time. He relaxes well and certainly bred to. People have got the wrong perception of him because he runs so good first-up but then he gets lost for a couple of runs. He's just turning five now and probably just starting to be a real racehorse."
Target for him: "Oddly enough our target is the JRA Cup here later. Hopefully we might get there."
Winning Jockey: Damien Thornton
How happy seeing Think We're Due lead: "I was much happier with that than seeing No Effort lead and have it all her own way. It worked out really well. He travelled good all through the run and they kept pressure up most of the race which I was happy with. He travelled good and it was only a matter of time before I pushed the button in the end."
JRA Cup: "All that you can do is win and that's what he's done today. Naturally you raise the bar and Shane can work out to what level. He's smart enough, he knows what he's doing. This horse keeps improving, everytime I've ridden him. He might get the 2000 (metres) and go to the next level, but time will tell."
