Winning Trainer: Mark & Levi Kavanagh (Levi Kavanagh speaking)

First black type win as a training partnership: "To get a stakes win first-up, it has been a bit frustrating over the last couple of weeks. This is fantastic. The Valley on a Friday night, what more could be better?

"In the Cap D'Antibes, we didn't draw the right gate there and she got held up on the fence. She didn't get wound up and she took improvement from that run. Her coat has really come through and she was ready to go today.

"We were a little but worried that we might get trapped on the rail there but to Luke's credit he rode perfectly and got off it at the right time.

The photo: "It was a bit of a nailbiter there. I didn't think we'd got it from where I was standing. Thought we ran second again."

Winning Jockey: Luke Currie

Good speed in the race: "She jumped really well but I was speaking to Levi (Kavanagh) beforehand, he's happy to just give her a chance and last time she got up just behind the speed and it provably just made her that bit even late. Second-up today we just wanted to give her a chance, hopefully find some room and hit the line, and she was good. "

Close finish: "I thought I got the bob in. I asked Willo (Craig Williams) and he said 'no you'. I think he wins enough to be a good enough judge, so I asked him and he thought I won. "

Kavanagh partnership's first stakes win: "It's always nice riding for them, both Levi and Mark. Mark's been a good trainer and Levi has been a part of that for a long time and they know how to train, so it's nice to ride for them."
