Victorian country racing is for a bumper long weekend with feature meetings at Avoca, Edenhope, Towong, Yarra Glen, Stony Creek and Moe.

Saturday features Avoca’s popular Pink Lamb and Purple Shiraz Race Day, the Edenhope Cup, Towong Cup and Yarra Glen’s Family Day.

On Sunday the country Cups circuit continues with the Stony Creek Cup and Echuca Cup meetings while the holiday Monday sees Moe's annual Jazz, Juice & GG’s Race Day and the ever popular Hanging Rock races.

Teresa Adams who trained nine-year-old gelding Record Score to win the Echuca Cup last year is looking to make it two in a row with the now 10-year-old.

Adams trains only three horses at Clifton Springs on the Bellarine Peninsula and believes the veteran can win again at big odds.

"I've set him specifically for this event and if he can get lucky in the running like last year I think he’ll be in the finish,’’ Adams said.

Sample Victoria’s renowned Pyrenees region wines and award winning lamb. The event will see a feast of gourmet lamb dishes on offer prepared by one of the regions leading chefs along with the finest Pyrenees wines.
