3 minute read

Locally trained Shango’s Image and rider Neville Wilson will be out to make it third time lucky in Sunday's Camperdown Cup.

The pair are still looking for their first Cup after running second for the past two years.

Wilson believs this could be their year.

“Shango’s has been a very honest performer for a long time and we’d love to win the local Cup with him," he said.

"I think he’s heading the right way.”

SHango'sI,mage was primed for his third Cup bid by his strong performance in the Open Sprint on Colac Cup Day last Sunday.

Visitors can expect to hear plenty of bull dust on the day as the search continues for Australia’s Best Bull Dust Artist hosted by 2006 Champion Bull Dust Artist Peter Conheady.

Chairman Graeme Bant said visitors to the area that attend the day would leave with the knowledge that they had been looked after by the club.

The Camperdown Cup is the second feature event locally as part of the “3 of the best in the west” promotion which includes the Colac, Camperdown and Terang Cups.
