Bell's victory on Blinkin Easy counts as one of his most important successes of his short career and he will be hoping Cooper retains him for the mount in next month's $30,000 Walcha Cup.

Cooper said the Walcha Cup was her next target with Blinkin Easy, who has now won six of his 20 starts and is the current star of her Moonbi stable near Tamworth.

“I like the horse a lot, he's one of the best I've had and looks to have a future,” Cooper said.

“At present he's not quite strong enough for the city but he's an ideal country cups horse.

“He will probably have another start before th Walcha Cup but that will be our aim with him.”

Cooper also ha a big opinion of Bell's ability.

“He's a good young rider, an intelligent kid and has a real future ahead of him,” she said.
