Gai Waterhouse's classy prospect Landing has been heavily backed to keep his unbeaten record intact at Hawkesbury on Saturday.
The More Than Ready gelding opened $1.75 for tjhe Hawkesbury Guineas with TAB Sportsbet but is into $1.70 and is set to start shorter.
Over 90 percent of all bets have been on Landing, who has also been backed into favouritism for the G1 Stradbroke at Eagle Farm on June 9.
Landing openedat $9 to win the Stradbroke but is now favourite at $5.50.
Other early moves in the Stradbroke Handicap include Tigers Tees ($51 to $18) including $1000 at $51 before it won the Hall Mark Stakes at Randwick last Saturday; Pinwheel, who finished second in the race, is $26 to $14 and Torio's Quest ($26 to $16) including $1000 at $26.
Landing has been coupled in a double of $5000 @ $4.90 with Buffering on the Hawkesbury Guineas and BTC Cup.
A big Saturday double has coupled Supremacy with Mawingo - $2500 @ $21.45.
