Railway Stakes runner up Luckygray currently heads the market for this Saturday’s Group 1 Kingston Town Classic after the final field of 16 was declared yesterday.
Flashing home from last on the turn to finish a valiant second, Luckygray will be out to claim his second Group 1 victory while fellow local hope Playing God will be aiming to become the first horse in the race’s history to claim the event in three successive years.
Group 1 winners Wall Street and this year’s Railway Stakes winner Mr Moet are also amoung the final acceptances.
Fuddle Dee Duddle remains the only three-year-old in the field for the final Australian Group I event of the year with the barrier draw set to be conducted later this afternoon.
