18 barrier trial heats conducted at Warwick Farm tomorrow will see a number of Group performed gallopers put through their paces including a large contingent from the David Vandyke stable.
Three trials will be conducted on the Warwick Farm course proper with two restricted to Group and Listed performed gallopers.
Heat 1 is a 1200m open trial which will feature for runners from the David Vandyke stable spearheaded by Lamasery.
The Vandyke stable star is on the way back from a fractured pelvis sustained in the Metropolitan last spring and has already trialled twice so far this preparation.
Lamasery at this stage is on track for a first up outing in the Group 1 Doncaster Mile on April 20.
He will be joined in the trial by stablemates Less Is More, Saint La Bamba and new acquisition, the former John O’Shea-trained Landing.
Christmas Cup winner Cantonese is another who will contest the heat.
Vandyke’s stakes-placed mare Miss Marx is down to contest Heat 3, an 800m Group and Listed trial also featuring Gai’s Choice, Skytrain and Stratana.
Chris Waller’s Group 1 winning duo of Shoot Out and Danleigh will be kept ticking over in Heat 2 over 1000m.
The pair ran first and third respectively in the Chipping Norton Stakes (1600m) and will next line up in the Group 1 George Ryder Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill on April 6.
New stablemates Illo and Reliable Man will join them.
