Warwick Farm played host to Group and Listed trials along with five Open trials during 12 heats conducted on Friday morning.

Rain Affair claimed the 1200m Group and Listed trial ahead of Sessions who was closing quickly under minimal fuss after setting well back.

The heat also included the likes of Safeguard, Manawanui, Cluster and Destiny’s Kiss.

The 795m Group and Listed trial was won by Didntcostalot. While he won the heat by more than six lengths, most eyes were on the likes of Joe Pride’s Terravista and La Amistad who also contested it.

Any Day Will Do and Royal Descent looked good running one two in a 1200m Open trial why Ghibellines finished second in a 795m 3YO Open trial behind the Rick Worthington-trained Not A Hint.

The next Sydney metropolitan trials to be conducted will be at Rosehill on Monday.

13 heats are scheduled with notable entrants Toydini, Weary, Ninth Legion, Atlante and Gerald Ryan’s Sires’ Produce winner Peggy Jean.
