TAB Sportsbet has opened its market for the Group 1 Epsom Handicap on October 4 with Messene and Royal Descent sharing favouritism.
Messene and Royal Descent are each quoted at $8 with TAB Sportsbet Fixed Odds.
Team Hawkes and Chris Waller-trained runners are prominent at the top of betting with Leebaz at $11 and Toydini for the former while Boban, Sacred Falls, Hawkspur and Weary make up a large contingent for Waller.
Weary has already attracted early market support with $15 currently on offer for the Geoff and Mary Grimish-raced import.
Progressive types As Needed and Rock Sturdy also sit on the third line of betting at $15.
Weights for the Epsom Handicap run on October 4 will be released in mid September.
