Go Indy Go and Miss Interiors each accepted for the Group 2 Moonee Valley Vase (2040m) on Saturday as a final lead up to their main goal of the Group 1 VRC Oaks (2500m) at Flemington on November 6.

The Leon McDonald and Andrew Gluyas-trained Go Indy Go will be the lone representative of the fairer sex in the Moonee Valley Vase after Miss Interiors was scratched from the event on Friday morning.

The Anthony Cummings-trained filly has succumbed to a virus and will now be spelled.

Go Indy Go is currently quoted at $6.00 with TAB Sportsbet Fixed Odds for the Moonee Valley Vase behind $4.80 favourite Chivalry.

Moonovermanhattan was smartly away from his outside barrier (11) and soon crossed, settling nicely outside the leader Zululand who set a moderate tempo. He moved up well nearing the home turn, dashed clear on turning for home and went on to win well by almost two lengths. Atmosphere was sixth, one off the rails, before making a run approaching the home turn. He went to third on straightening and continued to fight on quite well in the sprint home to take a sound second. The filly Go Indy Go travelled well in eighth place, one off the rails but was under pressure coming to the turn as the pace increased and responded well from the 100m for very good late-closing third, looking on-track for a bold run in the VRC Oaks (Gr 1, 2500m) on 6 November. Royal Standing was a handy third on the rails to the turn and fought on to finish (2.2 lengths) fourth. The favourite Chivalry was fifth on the rails, put in a run coming to the turn but just battled from that point to finish (2.3 lengths) fifth while Zululand led the field to the turn before finishing sixth, beaten three lengths. Bondeiger made good late ground for (3.9 lengths) seventh after being disadvantaged by the slow early pace.
