Nominations for Saturday's G3 Summer Cup, the feature of Boxing Day racing at Randwick, have been extended until Tuesday after drawing only 10 entries.

Five of the 10 entries come from the Chris Waller and John O’Shea stables.

Waller has nominated I’m Imposing, winner of the $125,000 race for the last two years since the distance was reduced from 2400m to 2000m, last start Ballarat Cup winner Junoob and the talented mare Telepathic.

O’Shea’s entries are Allergic and Cabalistic.

I’m Imposing and Telepathic, an unlucky last start sixth in the G2 Villiers Stakes (1600m) at Randwick on December 12 after winning her two previous starts over 1500m and 2000m at Rosehill, are also nominated for Saturday’s December Handicap (1600m) at Randwick.

The Summer Cup has attracted one interstate entry with the Mike Moroney stable nominating the Group winner Garud.

Nominations for the Summer Cup have been extended until 11am on Tuesday.

There are no entry concerns for Saturday’s $100,000 Canterbury Classic (1200m) with a strong list of 21 nominations including Strawberry Boy, Howmuchdoyouloveme, Heart Testa, Cradle Me, Sebring Sun, Rule The River, Barbed, Boss Lane, Dances On Stars, Echo Gal and I’ve Got The Looks.
