Topline gallopers Terravista, Preferment and Contributer will step out for their first barrier trials of the autumn at Warwick Farm on Monday.
The morning hosts several star-studded heats as the big name gallopers ramp up their preparations towards the upcoming features races.
Top sprinter Terravista makes his first appearance of the year in an 800 metre trial alongside his Joe Pride-trained stablemates Ball Of Muscle and Rock Sturdy.
Terravista is preparing for a first-up tilt at the Lightning Stakes and takes on Exosphere in the trial, the colt also heading to the Group 1 down the Flemington straight.
Their heat also features top weight-for-age performer Contributer, top mares First Seal and Bounding, along with stakes winners Famous Seamus, Its Somewhat, Weary and Rock Sturdy.
Derby-winner Preferment makes his first appearance since a trip to Hong Kong in an open trial over 1100 metres.
His trainer Chris Waller is well-represented in the heat with Catkins, Ballet Suite, Hursley and Torgersen also entered.
Golden Slipper second favourite Astern makes his autumn bow in a two-year-old colts and geldings trial over 800 metres, taking on a field of unraced youngsters.
Other interesting triallers during the morning include John Thompson’s French import Auvray, Group-winning mare Thunder Lady, capable sprinter Va Pensiero and Godolphin runners Ottoman, Furnaces, Etymology and Asinara.
