Olive believes the well-performed Bring A Secret will run a much better race.

“I though his run in Canberra last time was massive. He’s drawn a nice gate and I think he will jump and put himself there.

“He made a sustained run from the 800m at Canberra and was entitled to get a bit tired. He’s spot on and I couldn’t be happier with him.”

Olive says Nat King Ku is going “super”.

“He’s won the Cup before and his first-up run the other day was really good. I think he will go really well and his record at Canberra is just phenomenal.”

Olive says Cool In Black (Race 3) is in better shape better than when he went to Rosehill for his most recent run.

“I thought went a good race up there, but may not have appreciated the hard track.

“He’s pleased since and the heavy surface suits and I expect him to go very well.”

Lock The Doors (Race 5) impressed winning FU at Canberra and Olive says the stable have kept him ticking over.

“I think it’s a slightly harder race on Friday, but I expect him to race well again and he’s a horse that can carry weight.”
