Trainer Kris Lees has the three-year-old earmarked to line up in the Inglis Sprint (1100m) where the three-year-old will carry 56kg under the set weights conditions.

Time Out Of Mind, a son of Dream Ahead, fetched $100,000 as a yearling but did not race as s two-year-old.

He made an impressive debut, albeit against only four rivals, when an easy winner of a Gosford Maiden (1100m) on December 1.

Time Out Of Mind is a half-brother to the former smart sprinter Rothesay, the classy son of Fastnet Rock who is now at stud.

Both Lees and his late father Max trained the colt’s dam Schiaparelli at various stages of her racing career.

Time Out Of Mind’s stablemates Sense Of Occasion and Press Report will also be heading to Randwick on Saturday after each won Gosford barrier trials last Tuesday with Brenton Avdulla aboard.

Sense Of Occasion scored easily over 1200m while Press Report was successful in her 800m trial in 50.02 secs.

Sense Of Occasion will tackle the $250,000 Villiers Stakes (1600m) first-up.

“He had only a short turnaround, and is coming to hand nicely,” Lees said.

The six-year-old won the Listed Premier’s Cup (1900m) at Rosehill in August and then raced well in the G3 Newcastle Gold Cup (2200m) and G1 ATC Metropolitan (2400m) at Randwick, finishing just behind the placegetters.

Press Report, now raced by Australian Bloodstock, finished an encouraging third to Prinncefamous in a BM 93 (1100m) at Rosehill on November 19 at her first start for her new trainer.

The merit of that form was confirmed when runner-up Kuro came out and easily won the Listed Starlight Stakes at the same track at his next start on December 3.
