Dual Group One-winning filly Global Glamour has sent an emphatic message to her Magic Millions Guineas rivals with a scorching barrier trial victory.
Two-time Group One-winner Global Glamour has impressively won a barrier trial at Randwick as trainers Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott plot her course to the Magic Millions Guineas.
Global Glamour sat wide before streaming down the outside in the straight to round up the field of a 740m-heat on Tuesday.
She beat home the James Cummings-trained Shahrazad with Scarlet Rain, Global Glamour's Group Two-winning stablemate, third.
Global Glamour won the Flight Stakes and the Thousand Guineas in October to give her two Group One victories in seven days.
Waterhouse and Bott are aiming three-year-old filly at the $2 million Magic Millions Guineas on the Gold Coast on January 14.
The Matthew Smith-trained Faraway Town is also being aimed at the Guineas and flew home late to grab second in a 1050m-trial earlier on Tuesday.
The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained Mediterranean, a relation of retired Golden Slipper winner Capitalist, easily won his heat in his first public appearance since being gelded.
