Due to the wet conditions in Sydney trainer Peter Robl will now run his talented pair Centre Pivot and Ninth Legion in a handicap over 1200 metres at Moonee Valley on Saturday.
Centre Pivot will be looking to win his first race since his victory in the 2015 Bernborough Handicap (Listed, 1615m), while Ninth Legion won the Eye Liner Stakes (Listed, 1350m) and Civic Stakes (Listed, 1350m) last winter but has
not been successful in eight starts.“They’ve both come up really well this preparation,” Robl said.
“Last preparation they both acquitted themselves really well without having much joy but they’ve both trialled up very nicely this time and with a bit of luck they can win a race or two for their owners.”
