Warrnambool Cup (Listed, 2350m) winner High Church (High Chaparral) and Ararat Gold Cup (2000m) victor Golden Oldies (Soldier’s Tale) are among the Horse Of The Year nominees for next month's Country Racing Victoria Awards.

The Darren Weir-trained High Church, who also won the Werribee Cup (2030m) in December, and the Terry and Karina O'Sullivan-trained Golden Oldies head five finalists for the award, which will be presented at the Country Racing Victoria Awards night in Melbourne on 26 August.
