Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Enable will stay in training, raising the possibility of a clash with Winx at Royal Ascot.

Enable's owner Prince Khalid Abdullah has announced Enable will race on as a four-year-old with Ascot's Director of Racing and Communications Nick Smith hoping she will return to either defend the King George (2400m) crown or run in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes (2000m), a target for Winx .

"It's obviously great news Enable stays in training and you would have to think the King George would be one of the serious options her connections would look at.

"At the moment we're just hoping Winx comes through the Cox Plate and then hopefully her connections have the option of running in the Queen Anne (1600m) or the Prince of Wales's Stakes.

"I suppose coming back to a mile-and-a-quarter at Ascot might be out of Enable's comfort zone, but obviously those decisions will be made by her connections."

Winx extended her winning streak to 21 and took her Group One tally to 14 in Saturday's Turnbull Stakes at Flemington.
