Progressive three-year-old sprinter Nature Strip took out his first stakes success, his sixth win in nine starts, and his first beyond 1100m in winning in good style here. He again showed his pace to lead, racing closer to the grandstand side, but travelling a bit keenly. He established a clear advantage nearing the 300m and was untroubled from that point to score impressively. Order Of Command raced back in seventh place, in the centre of the track, went to third at the 200m and then kept fighting on well for a good second. John McArdle-trained filly Egyptian Bullet raced eighth place, between runners, went through to fourth at the 200m and then battled on well for a good third.
