Talented three-year-old Miss Leonidas is expected to return to trainer Shaun Dwyer’s stables next week after a spell.

Miss Leonidas has won three of her seven starts including a six-length victory at Moonee Valley on June 16.

"She's obviously got to take some sort of step from where she is but it's hard to get over the hype that's around her from people who know about times, sectionals and weights," Dwyer said.

"She'll come back towards the end of the month. We're looking at mid-October - I think there is a fillies and mares' black-type race at Flemington - and that would be great to give her another run down the straight.

"I think there is a 1000 metre race at Caulfield before that and those two races might just do her with an eye to the autumn."
