Aquis to sponsor Beaudesert club

3 minute read

The Aquis group has expanded its sponsorships by acquiring naming rights to the Beaudesert club in south east Queensland.

The Aquis organisation has continued its expansion of sponsorships in Queensland by acquiring the naming rights to the Beaudesert club.

Aquis already has naming rights to the Gold Coast Turf Club which has been renamed Aquis Park.

The Gold Coast is in a partnership with Beaudesert and in effect runs the meetings and business of the regional club.

Aquis chief executive Shane McGrath said it was exciting to extend the sponsorship to incorporate Beaudesert which was near the company's main Queensland property.

"We view the Beaudesert naming rights as a great way to continue to grow and develop our investment in Queensland," he said.

Gold Coast chief executive Steve Lines said it was part of plans to get Beaudesert into a great financial position.

He said the sponsorship would be launched at a family fun race day at Beaudesert next Sunday.

The closure of Eagle Farm has meant Beaudesert has played a far bigger role on the TAB circuit in Queensland and it is to soon undergo an upgrade of the track and facilities.
