Flying filly Courseshewill  put herself in the box seat to attack the Magic Millions 2YO Classic with her win at Doomben.

Courseshewill ($4) won her first start at Toowoomba two weeks ago and boosted her prize money to $73,000 in beating Buckets Of Pride  by three-quarters-of-a-length.

Trainer Liam Birchley  said the win gave him options with Courseshewill as she heads to the $2 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic in January.

"It means I can give her a little break and plot a course we want to take to the Millions" he said.

"It also means no rush to qualify which will be the case for many of the other runners. It is a nice situation to be in."

The win means Birchley has already qualified runners for 14 of the 16 Magic Millions races.

"It is no secret the Millions is a race where I have had four minor placings and I would really like to win it," Birchley said.

Winning jockey Matt McGillivray  is keen to maintain his association with Courseshewill after also winning on her at Toowoomba.

"I think she is a horse with a heap of ability," he said.
