Blackbook followers cleaned up with a big priced double at Randwick last Saturday thanks to Oohood and Patrick Erin among five winners over the weekend. Blackbook horses also filled the trifecta in the ATC Metropolitan, paying more than $2700.
Trial Watch was also on the ball again with three winners at Randwick on Monday and a healthy double at Warwick Farm on Wednesday that included Catesby at nice odds.

PERFORMER (Randwick September 28 – Heat 1): Highly regarded 3YO looked fresh and focused as he split runners late to finish a close second in the open heat over 845m on the Kensington track. Had plenty to offer through the line and notably trialled without blinkers, suggesting he will be a lot sharper when next produced.
DREAMFORCE (Randwick September 13 – Heat 9): Hard to miss the first appearance by this quality Group performer since he won the Winter Stakes in July. He was the standout in a strong 730m heat after he was dragged back to sit midfield where he was held up until he was allowed to run through the pack under no pressure in the last 50 metres to finish an impressive fourth. Flies when fresh and this trial says don’t let him under your guard first-up. He’s since impressed again with a strong jump out over 800m at Flemington.
