Newcastle three-year-old Jonker will look to get his career back on track when he tackles the Listed Brian Crowley Stakes at Randwick on Saturday.

The David Atkins-trained Jonker won the Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic last season before his 2YO season was derailed by severe interference in the Magic Millions Classic at the Gold Coast in January.

He has never run worse than fourth as a three-year-old, most recently in the G2 Roman Consul Stakes (1200m) at Randwick.

Jason Collett is expected to take the ride on the colt in Saturday’s race.

Jonker is among 15 entries for the Brian Crowley Stakes 1200m) including the Queensland colt Ef Troop, Spin, Charge, Legend Of Condor, Ronstar, The Tenor and impressive Godolphin prospect Roosevelt.
