Lightly-raced five-year-old Eduardo has now started five times, winning three (with two seconds) and impressed in taking out this Group 2 event. After showing his quick early pace, he settled quite well in fourth place (deep), before moving up nearing the home turn. He went to the front at the 200m and then fought back for a very good win, looking set to progress to even better things. Danny Williams-trained mare She Knows raced in second last place in the eight-horse field, improved nicely rounding the home turn, challenged strongly at the 100m and then fought well for a very good second. Bons Away raced in fifth place on the rails, got along the inner in the straight and fought on nicely for third with Malibu Style making some late ground for (2.3 lengths) fourth.
