Red Verdon in some doubt for the Melbourne Cup

After moving a plate, English galloper Red Verdon has a bruised heel and is being watched in the preparation for Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup.

Ed Dunlop’s Red Verdon ran 11th in the Caulfield Cup and connections are still hopeful of a start.
