Peter Ellis fancies Libran for Chris Waller in the G2 race.
The Taj Mahal made it back-to-back victories in the Zipping Classic (Gr 2, 2400m) with a game performance in winning here, albeit by the barest of margins. He settled nicely under Ben Melham in second place, closing tracking the leader (Dal Harraild), that pair being well clear of the other runners. He put pressure on the runner from the 800m, gained a narrow advantage at the 200m and then dug deep in a hectic battle to score by a short half head at the post. British import Dal Harraild, having his third start since joining the Cairon Maher and David Eustace stable, ran a bold race. He went to the front and fought gallantly all the way to the post for the closest of seconds in a very promising staying performance.
