Kok has ridden 15 winners at Kranji this season with his latest aboard the Lee Freedman -trained Affleck  last Sunday night which followed a win aboard another Freedman-trained galloper Augustano on Friday.

Kok has also ridden 35 minor placings and is sitting fifth on the Singapore apprentices’ premiership table.

Kok is apprenticed to Australian ex-pat trainer Steve Burridge.

Tasmanian Hall of Fame jockey Stephen Maskiell  orchestrated Kok’s stint in Tasmania.

Maskiell is Tasracing’s apprentice jockey program manager and shored up the deal to bring Kok to Tasmania when he visited Kranji earlier this year.

The apprentice, who can claim 3kg in Australian races, will have his indentures transferred to Brighton trainer Leon Wells.

Wells will be responsible for taking Kok’s rides while he is in Tasmania.
