Injured jockey Tye Angland has been transferred to a Sydney hospital after an overnight flight from Hong Kong.
The 29-year-old jockey had been hospitalised in Hong Kong since November 25 when he suffered severe injuries in a race fall at Sha Tin.
He left Hong Kong for Sydney on Sunday evening with his wife Erin after he was cleared to travel by doctors.
A doctor travelled on the flight with Angland. He was admitted to Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital after his arrival in Sydney on Monday morning.
