The talented Fill The Flute is likely to be given the chance to extend her winning sequence to five at Flemington on Saturday.

But trainer Jamie Edwards says he will not take any chances with four-year-old Fill The Flute, whose last two wins during an unbeaten preparation have come at Moonee Valley.

“I expect her to race this weekend, but in the back of my mind I do keep thinking about how good she is fresh, her first-up form is very good,” he said.

“After her last win (on December 1) she’s had ten days in the paddock and she’s looking well but I don’t want to push her too hard.

"She’ll have a gallop at the farm on Wednesday and if she works okay then I’d expect her to take her place at Flemington.”
