TAB will replace UBET in those states across agencies and licensed venues, racetrack signage and sponsorships with the UBET app and website also moving to TAB branding.

UBET customers will gain access to several exciting features, including expanded Sky Racing vision, as part of the wagering brands becoming one entity.

As part of the rebranding, in the short term it will give access to unique content currently enjoyed by TAB customers in Victoria, NSW and ACT including an updated form format, race previews and race replays all within the TAB app and website.

A major benefit as part of the rebranding will be expanded vision from Sky Racing available on new digital platforms.

“The changing of brands from UBET to TAB is one of the largest customer rebranding exercises in recent history in Australia and is a significant key milestone in the post-merger integration of the former Tatts operations into Tabcorp,” said Tabcorp's Adam Rytenskild, managing director Wagering & Media.

“It’s a substantial change in that it involves both digital and physical retail assets, with more than 1280 outlets across four states changing signage by the end of March.”

“In terms of digital, the rebranding will provide new and exciting features to delight our customers, particularly additional Sky Racing vision available to watch within their new TAB app along with race replays and updated racing form information.

“We have already made a number of significant changes in the UBET states.

"These have included the rollout of our digital commissions model for venues and substantial fixed-odds improvements.

"The rebranding is the first significant customer-facing change and a key step in our effort to improve the performance of the UBET business.”

The UBET tote will be transitioned to UTAB. THis is a name change only with no impact on the betting process.

Over 1280 oncourse and retail venues will be rebranded from UBET to TAB. This initial change will be to external elements while the UBET app and website will be changed to TAB green and branding.
