Saturday's Sydney race meeting has been transferred from Warwick Farm to Randwick due to the forecast of extreme heat.

Temperatures in Sydney's west are expected to soar above 39 degrees on Saturday.

The ATC and Racing NSW noted the forecast and made an early decision to transfer the program to the Kensington track at Randwick where temperatures are expected to be cooler.

Due to the transfer the following distance and barrier limit amendments have been applied:-.

Race 1 – Warwick Farm Mile 1600m now 1550m (Barrier Limit 14)

Race 2 – Benchmark 88 1200m now 1150m (Barrier Limit 12)

Race 3 – Benchmark 78 1000m no change (Barrier Limit 14)

Race 4 – Benchmark 78 1600m now 1550m (Barrier Limit 14)

Race 5 – Benchmark 78 1300m no change (Barrier Limit 12)

Race 6 – F&M Benchmark 78 1300m no change (Barrier Limit 12)

Race 7 – 3yo Benchmark 72 1300m no change (Barrier Limit 12)

Race 8 – 2yo Handicap 1200m now 1150m (Barrier Limit 12)

Race 9 – TAB Highway Handicap 1300m no change (Barrier Limit 12)
