Michael Dee 's winning ride on stayer Khezerabad  at Flemington has also landed the jockey a suspension.

Dee won Saturday's Voting Opens Monday for All-Star Mile (2500m) on the Aaron Purcell -trained import but was later outed for six meetings for breaching the whip rules.

Dee lost his whip late in the race but stewards found he had used it 12 times before the 100m, seven times more than allowed under the rules.

He will begin his ban after riding at next Saturday's Caulfield meeting.

Stewards also charged apprentice Chelsea Macfarlane  with a different breach of the whip rules after her ride on Lucques  who finished second last in the Bitalli Handicap (1800m).

MacFarlane was charged with using the whip when the horse she was riding was out of contention and also showing no response.

Stewards issued a $500 fine and also referred the matter to the riding skills panel.
