Racing’s biggest drawcard Winx will make a guest appearance at Rosehill on Saturday in an exhibition gallop.
Trainer Chris Waller has decided to give his champion mare a day out as she prepares for her penultimate career start in the George Ryder Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday week.
Winx will gallop over 1000m after the second race. Kerrin McEvoy will have a rare ride on the great mare as her regular jockey Hugh Bowman is riding at Flemington in Melbourne on Saturday.It will be a treat for racegoers to see Winx stretch out in what will be one of her last race day appearances.
The winner of her last 30 races is set to complete her career in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick on April 13.
