Pierata’s trainer Greg Hickman will face a treatment inquiry before Racing NSW stewards on Wednesday.

Hickman has been called to an inquiry into the finding of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug meloxicam in a pre-race blood sample taken from Braces prior to racing at Rosehill on February 27.

Braces finished sixth ion the Rosehill race over 1500m before winning his next start over 1600m at Warwick Farm on March 13.

He raced once since that win for a second over 1800m at Randwick Kensington on April 3.
