CANTERBURY: California Zimbol (R1); Kahlo (R1); Maddie Rocks (R1); Asiago (R1); Fisticuffs (R2); Secretively (R2);  Invincible Prince (R2);  Havana Storm (R3); Sedgemoor (R3); Rockin Ruga (R6); Goddodin (R7).

Fisticuffs  (Warwick Farm October 15): First trial for well-bred Redoute’s Choice juvenile colt and he looked well educated to travel easily in the lead and extend nicely for a soft win despite a slow last sectional (43.28; 34.50). He’s been well educated as he’s had another four sound trials since January. Creates interest as they have been patient.

Gododdin  (Rosehil January 15): Lot to like about the way the Exceed And Excel filly led and was kept under a hold when another runner railed underneath her to head her at the 200m before she went up a gear to forge away on the line for a soft win. Didn’t trial again until given an easy time when second to Nature Strip at Randwick on April 26. She was a Randwick winner from just four starts last season and confident she can build on that.

HAWKESBURY THURSDAY: Taken Everything (R5)
