2019 ROMA CUP – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Great Shot while fresh will go fast and lead comfortably. Railway Stakes winner GALAXY STAR (8) is the one to beat first up from a 21-week spell. Opened last prep with a desperately close 2nd in the G3 Northerly over 1400m. Has won 3/3 at six furlongs and an impressive 11/15 overall. Hard to knock those figures.
ROCK MAGIC (1) returned after almost a year in the paddock to take out the G3 Northam Stakes over 1100m last start. A nine-time black-type winner who defies his age and can win again with the race fitness edge over the top pick.
ELECTRIC LIGHT (10) charged home from back in the pack to just miss picking up Rock Magic at Northam. Has won all six races contested at today's trip so she is certain to prove tough to hold out. MIZLECKI (9) disappointed last start but freshened up back to this journey is not out of the equation.
