The Kingsford-Smith Cup is a Group 1 race for the sprinters conducted by the Brisbane Racing Club.

The Kingsford-Smith Cup is now run over 1300m under Weight For Age conditions. It has been run over varying distances but was 1200m from 1991 onwards.

For the 2017 running it swapped positions with the Doomben 10000 as the middle pin of the Brisbane Winter Sprint Triple Crown.

In the last 20 years only four fillies/mares have won. They are Staging (1999), Gee I Jane (2006), Black Caviar (2011) and Sea Siren (2012).

In 2013 the race was switched to Eagle Farm to try and attract Black Caviar but she was retired after her TJ Smith win.

Apache Cat broke a string of beaten favs. Rough results have still been prevalent since then.

The 2019 edition of the Kingsford-Smith Cup is worth $700,000.
