Stewards will resume an inquiry into the fall of Lord Arthur in the Group One Queensland Derby as soon as his jockey Corey Brown is available.

Lord Arthur was euthanised after crashing at the 300m mark and Brown was taken to hospital.

Brown was conscious after the fall but was to undergo extensive tests.

Stewards opened an inquiry and took evidence from Matt McGillivray (Grand Bouquet), Tim Clark (Star of Carrums) and Tommy Berry (Nobu) before adjourning.

Earlier, Michael Hellyer was suspended for nine meetings for causing interference on Baccarat Baby in the Queensland Guineas.
