Race 1: Class 6 (1000M) Allowance / KRW 60 Million

Picture: Korea Racing Authority

The first on the card has eleven maidens engaged to go over the short course. (2) USEUNGUI PARANGSAE looks the one to beat coming off a second-placed performance on debut. The filly was beaten just over a length when trying to lead throughout. The time was reasonable for this grade so expect her to lead and to win. (7) FORVER RUNNER is another filly having her second start. She showed early speed last time before shortening stride in the straight. She will be better for the run so expect some improvement. (10) ROYAL SOLDIER drops back to the 1000M after finishing midfield over 1300M last time out. His debut over the short course was encouraging when running a good time. (11) KKEUTPAN CLOSER looks best of the rest after finishing 5th last time out. Ioanis Poullis will be legged aboard the chestnut for his third start.

Selections (2) Useungui Parangsae (7) Forever Runner (10) Royal Soldier (11) Kkeutpan Closer

Race 2: Class 6 (1000M) Allowance / KRW 60 Million

Nine two-year-olds will go over the minimum distance in the second event of the card. (6) MISS ADELE is the only horse with some racing experience. She was extremely green on debut when running down the home straight where she only went down by a neck. She sat three-wide throughout and based on her gutsy effort she should be hard to beat. (2) SAVE THE WORLD looks the main threat. The Menifee colt ran a handy 1.01.7 when finishing 2nd in his trial over 1000M. Top rider You Hyun-Myung rode him then and will be legged aboard for his debut run. (1) DONGTEUJA DAY was impressive in his trial. The Strike Again colt sat on speed and responded well when asked in the straight after being headed. They ran 1.03.5 on a dry track and there appeared to be no more left in the tank. (3) BLUE EMBER ran a similar time of 1.03.5 in her qualifying trial. She looks a place chance in a speedy affair.

Selections (6) Miss Adele (2) Save The World (1) Dongteuja Day (3) Blue Ember

Race 3: Class 6 (1300M) Allowance / KRW 24 Million

The three-year-olds will battle it out over 1300M. (2) BANJIUI JILJU was sent out favourite last time out and was gunned down by Turbo Speed to finish 2nd. She was drawn wide on that occasion and will appreciate and easier run from gate two today. (4) SUNDAY GLORY ran an impressive time when 2nd behind Ever Champion last start. He has speed to burn so look for him to lead from a good draw. He will have the polished services of You Hyun-Myung. (10) TITLE CODE finished 2nd last time out over this distance. He was well beaten but his consistency has been good, and he can figure with the right run. (8) RAON FLYING looks a place chance as he lines up for his fourth start.

Race 4: Class 6 (1600M) Allowance / KRW 24 Million

The fourth event has a filed of eleven three-year-olds going over the middle distance. One runner that looks like he will appreciate the step up in distance is (2) SAMSEONG DOKKI. He debuted over 1300M in mid-June and ran on well from the tail posting a fast sectional to finish 4th. Francois Herholdt will ride him again and don't be surprised if he settles midfield or worse. (11) MORNING TAEYANG has each-way claims in the race. The Colors Flying three-year-old wasn't beaten far last time out when 4th over 1300M (8) LISTEN TO ME was much improved last time out. The Peace Rules gelding sat behind the speed before finishing 3rd behind Daeheung Sidae. (7) TWO TWO CAPTAIN is looking to break maiden status at his tenth start. He placed for the first time over this distance last time out. Tough race for punters.

Race 5: Class 5 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

Punters have several chances to decipher through in the fifth on the card. (10) EL DRAGON had a torrid run last time out and can bounce back with the right run in this event. The Peter Wolsley trained galloper sat three wide on speed throughout last start and still ran through the line strong. (1) POWERFUL PIT has been trying to break maiden status for quite some time. Lee Sung-Jae will have the luxury of the inside gate. He partnered the horse last time out when 2nd behind Dongbang Narae over this distance. (6) CRYSTAL ROSE finished 2nd last time out in this grade, albeit a nine-length defeat. The filly should settle in the first half of the field and run on well. (5) URANUS J was well beaten last start but has performed fairly over the mile previously. The Pont Of Entry colt's chances will be enhanced if Choi Si Dae can position on speed.

Selections (10) El Dragon (1) Powerful Pit (6) Crystal Rose (5) Uranus J

Race 6: Class 5 (1300M) Allowance / KRW 40 Million

There are several chances in the sixth on the card for the class five gallopers. (10) GAMDONGUI SUNGAN has been racing well without winning. The Ecton Park four-year-old ran well last time out when finishing 2nd behind Texas Sidae. Seo Seung-Un will jump aboard for the first time which is a good sign for punters. (4) TOHAM STAR was impressive last time out when breaking maiden status. Choi Si-Dae will take over from Jin Kyum and you can expect the Hansen colt to sit on speed once again from gate four. (5) TURBO SPEED is another that broke maiden status last time out. This looks tougher but You Hyun-Myung jumps on which is a positive. (1) TRUE SIGNATURE is a last start winner as well with a slightly slower time. She will, however, get a cosy run from the inside.

Selections (10) Gamdongui Sungan (4) Toham Star (5) Turbo Speed (1) True Signature

Race 7: Class 4 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

A handy bunch of Class Four gallopers will line up in the seventh on the card where there should be some value in the market. (4) HALLA SKY has shown plenty of ability in his short career to date. He ran an impressive 2nd last time out behind Bold Rules over the 1300M. You Hyun-Myung has a sensational winning strike rate of 23% and may be able to add to it on the four-year-old. (9) APPLE GOLD has been consistent of late without winning. The Street Boss filly has finished 2nd at three of her past four starts. Choi Si-Dae has built a good relationship with the Kang Byung-Eun trained galloper. (5) B.K. THUNDER is another that has been consistent of late. He finished 2nd behind Bundanuibyeokneome last time when settling on speed. (1) YEONGGWANGUI SIDAE ran 2nd last start behind Mach Queen. She is a light weight chance with a good draw.

Selections (4) Halla Sky (9) Apple Gold (5) B.K. Thunder (1) Yeonggwangui Sidae

Race 8: Class 3 (1200M) Allowance / KRW 75 Million

The best bet on the card appears to be in the eight in the form of (6) RAINHA. The Gold Allure filly has finished 2nd in similar company at her past two starts and gets a good chance to salute in this race. She drops back a furlong to the 1200M but has shown she is versatile performing over the short course. She brings the best form lines into the race by far. (8) WORLD LOVE has been racing fairly since dropping back to the Class Three company three starts ago. He has a nice turn of speed so look for him doing his best work late. (4) JAEDOYAKUI BANSEOK has finished midfield at his past couple of starts. He is a consistent type and gets an ideal draw here to run into some money. (5) SINBIHAN BARAM was disappointing last time out but can redeem himself here with Seo Seung-Un aboard.

Selections (6) Rainha (8) World Love (4) Jaedoyakui Banseok (5) Sinbihan Baram

Race 9: Class 2 (1800M) Allowance / KRW 90 Million

The last on the card is an interesting race where the main chances have all drawn well. (3) ICE LEG comes off a 2nd behind Pro Consul last time out over the 1600M. The Korean-bred has won five from twelve and steps up to the 1800M for the first time. He ran through the line strongly last time out over the mile suggesting the step up in trip should not concern him. In contrast, (1) DYNAMIC ROOKIE drops back in distance after going over 2000M last time out. He was sent out as favourite by punters and managed to finish 2nd behind Morning Korea when settling just behind the leaders. He looks to be a winning chance in a wide-open affair. Don't rule out the chances of Challanhan Miso, a winner of six from twelve. His form lines don't appear as strong as the aforementioned but he will be competitive in this event. (11) DUBAI TEUKGEUP steps up in class after saluting in Class Three company last time. The Australian-bred faces his toughest task to date but will appreciate the drop in weight.

Selections (3) Ice Leg (1) Dynamic Rookie (2) Challanhan Miso (11) Dubai Teukgeup
