The Kris Lees-trained trio will contest a 900m trial on the course proper for Group and Listed horses with In Her Time and Graff putting their claims for the $13 million Everest under the spotlight.

In Her Time is already in the Everest field, having been taken by slot holder Inglis, and Lees is hoping Graff can claim one of the other remaining places in the elite field at Randwick on October 19.

Lees is looking at beginning Graff 's campaign in the G3 Concorde Stakes (1000m) at Randwick on September 7 while In Her Time will run in either The Shorts or the Premiere Stakes as her lead-up to The Everest.

"At this stage I'd suggest she probably goes to The Shorts then into The Everest with a month between,'' Lees said.

"We're still well away so we'll just keep ticking over. She's an older mare and she had a long time between runs so after this trial we will probably get a bit more serious.''

In Her Time, Graff and Gem Song will be joined in Monday's trial by stablemates Kanavu and Turnberry.

Lees also has Aliferous, Angel Of Heaven, El Dorado Dreaming, Hallelujah Boy and Regimental Band down to run in the second Group and Listed trial.

His crack stayers Red Cardinal and Sixties Groove , the Brisbane Cup winner, will trial over 1200m on the Beaumont track on Monday.
