The MRC Members' Everest Sweepstakes will reward MRC members attending Ladbrokes Caulfield Guineas Day on October 12 where up to 16 attending members will be allocated a runner in the Schillaci Stakes (1100m).

All members allocated a runner in the sweep will automatically win $500 and be invited to join connections in the Mounting Yard to view the Schillaci Stakes.

The member allocated the Schillaci Stakes winner will be invited to attend Caulfield on Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Day on October 19 as a special guest of the MRC and to cheer on their horse as it runs in the TAB Everest at Royal Randwick.

If the Schillaci Stakes winner goes on to finish in the placings in the TAB Everest the lucky member will receive $250,000, $100,000 or $50,000 should their horse place first, second or third.

The competition is open to eligible new and renewed MRC members. All that's required to enter the draw is to attend Caulfield and scan your membership before 2pm on Ladbrokes Caulfield Guineas Day.

MRC Chief Executive Officer Josh Blanksby said it was always planned to share the Everest prizemoney with MRC members should the MRC slot holder be successful.

"When planning the MRC Everest Series, it was vital to us that we involve our members in the excitement of what is happening both at Caulfield and in Sydney on October 19.

"Our members are our greatest asset, and the reason behind everything we do as a club. Our successes are their successes and so it is only natural that we want to share the wealth should the MRC runner get up in The Everest."

The MRC Everest Series incorporates four key races starting with the Regal Roller Stakes (1200m) that was run on August 17 and was won by Beegood Toya Mother

The second race in the series is The Heath (1100m) at Caulfield on Saturday, followed by the Testa Rossa Stakes (1200m) on September 29.

The winners of the above three lead-in races all receive a confirmed place in the Schillaci Stakes (1100m) on October 12 where the winner will be offered the MRC slot in $13 million The Everest (1200m) at Randwick on October 19.
