Top central Queensland apprentice Elyce Smith will make her Brisbane debut a year after being seriously injured in a fall.

Smith, who is apprenticed to her father Fred Smith in Rockhampton, has been booked for three rides at Eagle Farm on the John Manzelmann trained Sensation Ally and Zoffany Rocket and Mad Irish Tycoon for trainer Tom Button.

The 21-year-old, who has ridden 109 winners, can claim three kilograms in the metropolitan area.

Smith was seriously injured in a fall at Thangool last September but made a full recovery and was back riding in March.
