It was a Waller-a-thon as the champion trainer had the first five over the line with Wu Gok winning the 2019 Premier’s Cup at Rosehill on Saturday.
Wu Gok loves the wet tracks and he railed home to beat the well supported stablemates.
The heavy track specialist does it again.

WINNING TRAINER: CHRIS WALLER
Thoughts on Wu Gok: "He has been a fantastic horse through the winter. It was a good win, a well deserved win for him and he might head to Wyong on Friday as well to have another race before he goes out for a well earned break."
Thoughts on other efforts from his Premier's Cup team: "The stable ran well. Come Play With Me was excellent. I spoke to Adam Durrant this morning and he thought he would improve with the run and I think he is right. I don't think a win is far away for him and he was beaten today by an out and out wet tracker."
Thoughts on staying team heading into the spring: "We kept a couple at home - Shraaoh and Girl Tuesday thinking today might have been a bit tough for them at this stage of their preparation. Overall, I think the race was good and we've got some nice stayers going forward for the spring."
"There is a good selection of races. There is the Kingston Town coming up. Ideally you get most of them going towards The Metropolitan and a few can head down to Melbourne at some stage too."
WINNING JOCKEY: TOMMY BERRY
Wet track suited: "I rode him last start and I said to Chris 'we just need a track with a bit of sting out of it again' and he did. He was very well-placed, he was down in the weights. I've been making an effort in the last few weeks to ride 53 on a Saturday so I could get some decent rides and I was lucky enough to get this bloke.
Feeling through the run: "I always knew they'd probably come off the rail a bit. It's getting a bit chewed up this part of the day but he lapped it up. He travelled so sweetly in the run, he was so happy. He found about a length at the top of the straight and held it the whole way to the post. He's a horse in form at the moment."
BEATEN JOCKEYS:
Brenton Avdulla (Carzoff): "He tried his guts out. Had every chance just beaten by two better wet trackers."
Kathy O'hara (Grey Lion): "He is racing a little bit above his racing weight but he will tighten up plenty."
Jason Collett (Sweet Thomas): "Wheels were spinning on the ground but he worked home okay."
James Mcdonald (Come Play With Me): "He went really well today and will improve off that."
Glen Boss (So You Win): "He went good. He probably needed it. Obviously testing conditions and he just blew out on me. I wouldn't drop off him."
Jay Ford (Mawaany Machine): "Never really travelled. Seemed to struggle in those conditions."
Tim Clark (Wolfe): "Didn't handle the ground. Simple as that. Horse felt great."
Blaike Mc Dougall (Savacool): "Good. It was a bit of a sit and sprint which didn't suit but off that probably a touch further."
Ms J Taylor (Dagny): "She ran okay. They just sprinted a bit quick for her."
