Redzel made it three wins in a row in the 2019 Concorde Stakes at Randwick on Saturday and now chases three Everests as well.
Leading all the way again in a top race, he hit the front at the 300m and held off the fast finishing Pierata.

Winning Trainer: Peter & Paul Snowden (Paul representing)
A bit of deja vu: "You sort of can't hide the excitement we have in the morning on how he's going. It was very pleasing to see. We have a goal and we have to get there. We have a lot of respect for the other runners. It only gets harder from now on. Was just saying to the guys he ran a similar time to last two years. It's all about getting back to where we were. I feel that we've got him there."
On getting him back: "Probably knew when he came back in. It's hard for a carnival horse to get a break. He had a long break. We had a slow build up and good foundation this time. He loves the stable life, he thrives on it."
On the run in transit: "I was pretty happy. When he came up underneath Kerrin at the 800m then through the 600m and 500m and hadn't moved on him you knew he was in it. When Nature Strip came around him it put it to him but he hadn't spent a penny. It played into our hands today. Still a bit to go."
On the next run: "We've won it with both options. To the Shorts in a few weeks or wait for the Premiere with a trial in between. We won't make that call until this time next week and see how he comes through it."
Winning Jockey: Kerrin McEvoy
On the win: "It's great to see him back. He had his doubters after last prep but it is great to see him come back and do it first up. He's making that little race his own, that's his third one, it was a pleasing effort there today."
On last prep: "His last prep a few things went wrong, he was unlucky first up. We went to Queensland after the TJ here and nothing sort of went right but we got beaten fair and square. Peter and Paul just tried to put him away and start again. They found a few little things which they changed around and he is moving lovely.
"Last prep he was working well. There's every chance that he is going to be a force to be reckoned with through this preparation."
On a potential third Everest: "We were lucky enough to get one, let alone three, but there is a lot of time between now and then, and there is plenty of improvement in him, so really looking forward to seeing how he progresses."
Beaten Jockeys:
Tommy Berry (Pierata): "You've just got to watch the race to see how well he went. He's come back in much better order this preparation, we've been saying he's bigger, he's stronger, he's better. I think that showed it today. He's on the right track and very excited about the rest of his spring."
James McDonald (Nature Strip): "Even though there was a lot of pace on paper it didn't work out like that. He fired up for about a furlong in the middle and finished accordingly."
Luke Currie (Sunlight): "She was okay. She was going to be wide so I came back and they quickened so well they had her chasing around the corner. She'd had enough late but we knew she would fitness wise."
Brenton Avdulla (Graff): "He ran terrific. He's playing with the big boys now and his run was full of merit."
Brad Stewart (Zoustyle): "Sat outside Redzel, went maybe a touch keen for a short period of the race but after that he settled alright. Maybe that's not his go sitting up there, I couldn't tell you."
