Cassidy has been riding trackwork and is planning to take race rides at the Sunshine Coast on Friday.

The former Sydney and Brisbane premiership winner has not ridden since August 7.

Cassidy suffered a stress fracture in his right leg in a barrier mishap at a Sunshine Coast meeting in July.

He continued riding for three weeks before x-rays revealed he had fractured his left tibia.

Toowoomba-based Sky Bogenhuber has also been given a clearance to resume riding.

Bogenhuber has not ridden since she suffered concussion and bleeding on her brain in fall in March.

She has been given green light to resume riding in jump-outs and barrier trials.
