CUBA (1) has been on fire this prep, winning his last two after a couple of placings to kick off the campaign. Reached new heights last start when he led all the way to record a tough win over this trip at Randwick in Saturday company. Looks well treated after the claim and can win again. QUADRIGA (9) returned from a 24-week spell with a tough win over 1250m at Canterbury, coming from just off the pace on the corner. Finds a slightly tougher race today but with added fitness over more ground is sure to be competitive. EL MO (10) wasn't beaten far first up and will improve today over a bit more ground. MASTER ASH (4) is a G3 winner but struggling for form at present. Worth one more chance third up today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stick with #1 Cuba.

Cleo' Poet, Marchello and Zemmour will engage in a fierce battle for the early lead. FRIDAY FUNDAY (4) had a 30-day break when second up last start and it showed as he tired late to finish 5th over 2088m at Moe. Strips fitter and his form at today's journey reads a win and two placings from four attempts. Will be spot on for today's assignment. CLEO'S POET (1) led but was swamped in the straight and finished 4th over a similar trip to this at Seymour recently. Will enjoy a lovely run in front or in the box-seat and is a winning hope. MARCHELLO (3) led and just failed to hang on over this course and distance last start at huge odds. Veteran with definite claims. Big gap to the next best ZEMMOUR (5). SUGGESTED PLAY: #4 Friday Funday is ready to win.

Von Rosen and Vienna Power from adjoining gates will enjoy a battle for the lead. DESERT MAN (1) appreciated a drop in class last start when he led all the way and scored a massive win over this course and distance. Steps up a level today but with the same weight today only needs to go close to that last effort to be winning again. BUCK BAY (4) returned from a 19-week spell with a closing 5th over 1000m at Eagle Farm recently, beaten less than 2 lengths after spotting the leaders a big start on the corner. Prefer him on a bigger track but will be motoring home. MOONAN JOYCE (5) fought hard to be beaten less then a length last time out over 1000m at Eagle Farm. Distance specialist with strong each-way claims. GODFATHER'S GIRL (8) won a recent trial so she looks ready to run well first up from an 18-week layoff. SUGGESTED PLAY: #1 Desert Man to win.
Gawler: Race 7 @ 4:15pm
BWUVA (1) sat behind the leading division then charged home late but missed out by a head last start over 1400m at Morphettville Parks. Very fit now after three runs back and this is a far softer assignment. PICTURE ME ROLLING (3) came off a 39-day freshen-up and appreciated the drop in grade when a well-supported winner over 1600m at Strathalbyn last time out. Has the class to win again, with the step back in distance the only query. Agree with the market that this is a race in two. SVETLANA'S ARROW (8) won in town over 1550m two runs back then failed to fire last time when coming off a 52-day break. Fitter and not hopeless. The lightly raced CHUBBY RAIN (2) has place claims first up from a spell. SUGGESTED PLAY: #1 Bwuva finds the right race - back him to win.
